The SPECTRE RADIUM swan neck wing is 100% tailor made for the track focused S550 Mustang. It's a direct bolt on for the GT350R and GT500 carbon fiber track pack equipped cars. The SPECTRE RADIUM will utilize the same OEM mount holes. If you are mounting the RADIUM on a GT/GT350 trunklid, you will drill new holes. You can also purchase separately the ARCHETYPE RACING Carbon Fiber Trunk Lid to match your wing and cover the OEM holes left behind by your spoiler.
Everything from the billet aluminum uprights, STILETTO trunk supports, and the airfoil were meticulously designed to conform to the S550's trunk shape, overbody airflow, and overall bodylines.
The RADIUM's uprights are 6061 T6 Billet Aluminum and machined to exacting tolerances. Each upright pair consists of 6 main components. All of which have hidden hardware for a very finished and smart look. Because who wants to see obvious nuts and bolts attaching everything?
The uprights will be factory finished in anodized solid satin black with post machining around the windowed areas of the uprights and post machined features in the swan neck mount.
The goals for this swan neck design were simple.

Right off the bat, you'll notice the airfoil's height is positioned directly in the airstream, attributing to its healthier downforce capability. Quick specs for the airfoil are: 72" span, 11" chord, and a thickness of 1.1" Custom spans are also available, 72" being the maximum. Through countless CFD runs, the airfoil placement was optimized to yield great effective downforce and low drag. CFD was performed with the wing mounted on the car for more real world data and results. The wing was not run in CFD in space (clean air) for optimum numbers. Angle of attack adjustments for the SPECTRE are neutral to +12 degrees, in 1 degree increments.
